I-9 Employment Verification

I-9 form verifies the identity and employment authorization of individuals hired for employment in the United States, both citizens and non-citizens. The I-9 employment form asks for a signature from the individual for the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services as a business representative, not a notary. An I-9 form does not need to be notarized.
